Tribar Staff · Tribes

An org chart for the work — and for your agents.

Eleven disciplines own the work in Staff. Tasks route to the tribe that owns the criterion, agents inherit the same boundaries, and ambiguous ownership escalates to a human instead of being guessed.

We run Tribar on Staff

Every person in this studio is mapped to a tribe. The agents delegate through the same path.

When we say work has an owner here, we mean it structurally: team members carry tribe affiliations, and agent delegation runs through the same governed routing you get out of the box. This is where tribal delegation is being proven first — on our own backlog, against our own standards, before we ask any customer to rely on it.

The map

Eleven tribes, one map.

A shared language for who does what — across teams, boards, and agents. Every member and every assignment speaks it.

How routing works

Ownership you can compute.

The rules that keep routing honest — and keep agents inside the lines.

Distinctive work, distinctive owners

Routing weighs the vocabulary only one tribe owns. A word two disciplines share can never hand work to either of them — so routing reflects real ownership, not the loudest label.

Lenses, not labels

Each tribe reads the organization through its own concerns and blind spots. The system tracks which perspectives were missing from a decision — and tells you, instead of averaging everyone into blandness.

Authority is computed, not assumed

Every assignment carries an envelope: routine work proceeds, sensitive paths require approval, irreversible actions are forbidden. Authority comes from the envelope — never from the assignee’s enthusiasm.

Contested work escalates

When ownership is ambiguous, the system does not flip a coin. Contested assignments go to a human — and if the nominal winner is contested, it escalates too.

Verifiable, or it goes to a person

Criteria a machine can prove — tests, builds, checks — are automated. “Feels right” and “fits the brand” go to humans. If nothing can be proven, the default is a person, not a guess.

Agents with a tribe and a record

Delegated agents work under a tribe identity with the same rules as everyone else: they record progress, evidence, and blockers — and they propose, never decide.

Give your work — and your agents — a real org chart.

The full tribe model ships with Staff: affiliations, routing, authority envelopes, and the delegation record. Your first run is honest because it runs on your own work.
